Street food is an old notion that arose from the need for quick access to light food to satisfy hunger. These are ready-to-eat foods and beverages offered by vendors in open public spaces, primarily on the streets. It also helps in our economy as a lot people who ware previously unemployed are currently selling street foods and providing for there family. Street vending is not a marginal activity, but one of the most important employment opportunities for the urban poor in Bangladesh (cf. Salway et al., 2003; World Bank, 2007).
